From the first pilot session in Padova to testing with coaches and athletes across five countries, CultuRhythmics has gradually moved from an idea into real training environments.
Following the first pilot in Italy, partners continued testing the methodology in Lithuania, Türkiye, Slovenia and Serbia. Coaches and athletes had the opportunity to try the exercises themselves, work with rhythm and movement and share their feedback on the experience.
Pilot Testing and Feedback
The sessions gave the project team a chance to see how the exercises worked with different groups and in different sports settings. Some movements were already familiar to participants, while others offered a new challenge once rhythm was added. In several sessions, participants also noticed that exercises which looked difficult when watching the videos became easier once they started practising them.
The pilot testing also helped identify practical improvements. Participants suggested clearer step-by-step instructions, more information about exercise duration and different levels of difficulty for some activities. Coaches also discussed how the exercises could be adapted to different sports and age groups.

Next Steps
After the pilot phase, partners continued with local workshops and training activities, introducing the methodology to wider groups and giving more people the chance to experience it.
The feedback collected throughout this process helped shape the training materials and prepare the methodology for the next stage of the project.
Five countries, many different training environments and one shared question: how can rhythm and movement bring something new to sport?
