From Training to Wider Conversations 1600 1200 Culturhythmics

The CultuRhythmics journey continued beyond the practical training sessions.

Following the International Community Event, partners organised Grassroots Advocacy Meetings and webinars to open wider discussions about participation in sport, inclusion, coaching and the role of new approaches in sports training.

Key Discussion Topics

The Grassroots Advocacy Meetings brought together participants to discuss some of the challenges faced by young people and sports organisations. Discussions covered topics such as keeping young people engaged in sport, gender stereotypes and inclusion, coach education, wellbeing and the conditions needed for innovative approaches to become part of everyday sports practice.

Reaching a Wider Audience

The webinars created another space to share ideas and experiences with people who could not take part in the practical activities. They also helped introduce the CultuRhythmics approach to a wider audience and discuss how rhythm, music and movement can complement existing training practices.

Moving Beyond the Project

These activities were an important part of the final stage of the project. The aim was not only to create and test a methodology, but also to start conversations about how it can be used and shared beyond the project partnership.

From testing the exercises to talking about where they can go next.
